A BNSF color chart was lined up as I passed through Glendive, MT. BNSF 720, a C44-9W, features the last factory delivered warbonnet scheme; BNSF 8925, an SD70MAC, features its faded factory delivered Heritage II scheme; BNSF 6089, an ES44AC, wears the current scheme; and BNSF 9495, another SD70MAC, wears the classic Grinstein scheme, which has held up pretty well over more than two decades. A colorful mix.
