| The BB 4200 are a series of old electric locomotives of the Compagnie du Midi, integrated into the SNCF in 1938. A total of 50 locomotives of the BB 4200 class have been built by the Constructions électriques de France in Tarbes between 1934 and 1935. The last locomotive has been withdrawn from active service in 1997. The BB 4234 is seen here during shunting operations at the Paris Austerlitz railway station. |
