The RDCs and the smokestack in the background indicate that Erie Lackawanna U33C 3315 is an out-of-town visitor as it lays over beneath the sand towers at the Boston & Maine's Boston Engine Terminal. At the time the EL, D&H, and B&M pooled power on Boston-Chicago piggyback trains PB-99 and PB-100, so this was not an uncommon sight.
