Established in 1942 during WWII from an Executive Order from President Franklin Roosevelt, the United States Transportation Corps is in charge of moving supplies and men across the world. By the end of the War it is estimated the Corps moved 30 million men in the 48 Contiguous States.
In conjunction with Lerro Productions and Strasburg Rail Road, the "Red Ball Express" was born with the idea to recreate the Corps as a fundraiser for a recent barn fire at Verdant View Farm, one of the railroads neighbors to help rebuild with nearly $11,000 collected as of 5/26/18.
Here "RBX" passes over the Pumpkinville Turnpike with US troops on board protecting the train and the supplies it's carrying.
