| This odd coupling of a GE B30-7 and 2-8-4 No. 2716 has begun to draw a crowd as adjustments are being made to the big Berkshire. The occasion was a DC Chapter NRHS round trip from Alexandria to Charlottesville. The ride in the open car that day along the old Southern Railway mainline was memorable- cinder goggles were a real necessity. |
