The Twin ECOs
The matched set of NYS&W ECO units lead an incredibly unusual daylight local Eastbound from Sparta with a lengthy consist of empty cars having dropped loaded cars in exchange. The local crew ran an old school “Sparta turn” due to the road train not operating Tuesday evening since the line was out of service on the Middletown and New Jersey’s Hudson Secondary.
