| TEM2 diesel shunter (max power - 1200 hp, max speed - 100 km/h) and station workers are working in a -20 C frost. This weather is usual for Western Siberia in the winter. TEM2 series were manufactured between 1960 and 2000 by Bryansk Engineering Works. TEM2 was also supplied to Poland, Mongolia and Cuba. ALCO RSD-1 is the distant progenitor of this locomotive. |
