| Which Alco Does it Better? As the first weekend of the Nevada Northern Railway's Winter Photo Session gets underway...those present get a unique smoke show as the shortline's pair of Alco diesels and 109-year-old steam locomotive, also built by Alco, enter the East Ely yard side-by-side. Ironically, it's the diesels putting on the main part of this show as the engineer of No. 93 has closed the throttle to allow the pair of diesels and their short train to catch up before passing in front of the depot. |
