On a beautiful afternoon in March 2003, BNSF Dash 9 No. 2003 leads a westbound manifest at the east end of Woodford. Note how easily adaptable the red and silver was to "BNSF," where just changing the name of the side and in the cigar band did the trick. The red and silver warbonnet was without a doubt the most recognized public icon in the history of North American railroading. Nothing else has come close.
