Rock Island EMD GP40 sits at the joint facility operated with Rio Grande at North Yard in Denver, Colorado, in August 1979. Rio Grande No. 131 is a SW1200, while the nose of an SW1000 is visible, and a large-lettered GP9 is behind the two switchers.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
