While recently going through the last remaining items of my Dad's estate, I came across this old Baldwin Locomotive Works card of Santa Fe Northern 3764. My Dad's great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a designer engineer at Baldwin Locomotive Works, and every time my dad would visit Uncle Rob, he would bring my dad a couple Baldwin Locomotive cards. Over the years my father's collection grew, and one of his favorite railroads was the Santa Fe. My father decided to sell some of his collection so that he could go to the Nevada Northern to drive a steam locomotive. When mom became sick, he used the extra money to help pay her medical expenses. Dad never got to drive the steam locomotive, but he always taught me about love and priorities. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is part of the John R. Doughty collection.
