Budd 10&6 "Pacific Gardens" spends the night in the shop. At the time of this photo, these cars had been relegated to crew dorm service, and a few years later would be retired altogether. There is nothing quite like the experience of sleeping in one of these well built cars at track speed; the gently sway, the solid components, and that Budd heritage car smell - I'm sure those who had the experience know exactly what I'm talking about.
