Remarks & Notes

At dusk, an officer's special stops to detrain guests at Siskiyou siding, the peak of the grade out of Ashland over Siskyou Summit. Both of Oregon's US Senators were aboard the train. Guests boarded buses for the return to Ashland, and the train returned to California.
