Remarks & Notes
UP's hotshot UPS train bound for LA out of Global 4 crosses the remote section of the BNSF Transcon between Argyle and Revere. The train is seen here crossing the Des Monies River and the state line between Iowa and Missouri. The crew on the train is working between Fort Madison, IA, and KC. UP has moved most of their traffic off the BNSF route, but these trains still make the trek 6 days a week. This guy was having no problems staying ahead of the 5 motor ZNYCLAC BNSF train 30 minutes behind him! Drone shot.

Trains pulled by modern GE locos, from Dash-9s onward. My favorite locos, probably because I worked for GE at Erie, PA.
