Remarks & Notes
Coming or going? BNSF 6270 serves as a DPU on a westbound Z train headed for Portland, OR as it exits the tunnel under Cape Horn on the Washington side of the Columbia River east of Washougal, WA. We were happy to get this shot after more than 30 minutes of hiking into this location. It is an eastbound shot, but we only saw the westbound Empire Builder and this train while the light was right.
