LMX lease units were not the most beautiful locomotive to ever grace BN, but on the point of train 3, the red nose seemed to tie in with the intense light and fall colors as the train crossed the Wenatchee River after exiting the Chumstick Tunnel near Plain, WA. The LMX's originally did not have the red on the lower nose.
