| Amtrak Work Extra 2006 is seen tied down on the newly installed Track 2 on the North Haven/Wallingford town line. Extra 2006 has just finished shoving six loads of ties back to the Track Laying Machine. A new crew will pull the empties and respot more loads for tomorrow's work. Track 2 is being installed as part of the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield rail project. Amtrak 55, the Southbound Vermonter rushes past the work train enroute to Washington, DC. |
