After this week you will not be able to get this picture of this locomotive or caboose. They are both going to a different owner. They have been in Belmont for years and the last railroad that was a existing one was laurinburg and southern the locomotive number was 107. As you can see they have already cut off the step ladders to the rolling stock and removed the exhaust stack on the 70-ton locomotive. The locomotive has been gutted ever since it arrived in Belmont years ago so wherever it goes it will not run. Caboose was in a little better shape but it also was declining quickly. The passenger car is still staying in Belmont for the time being but I don't know how long. It has a bent frame and will never run again. I hate to see the two pieces of rolling stock go but it has been a safety hazard. Kids have climbed on them and almost fallen off. But the railroad that is on the locomotive and the passenger car is a railroad that was nonexistent it was just for show. You can also see the moon in the sky. Update: as of 2-23-2016 you can not longer get this shot. The locomotive and caboose have been shipped off to Dallas NC
