Leading an Oak Island to Buffalo freight is a GP38 without dynamic brakes, originally ordered by the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, but delivered to the Penn Central. No. 7670 was built with tandem control stands by EMD in July, 1970 as PC Class ERS20, the first of five units numbered 2010-2014, later renumbered by Conrail to Nos. 7670-7674. The 7670 was later acquired by CSXT, where it was again renumbered, to 1944.
