Remarks & Notes

Caboose 23512 tags along behind an SD45 helper set, westbound on No. 3 Track. The 23512 is a Conrail Class N-8B, created when the Penn Central modified their ex-New Haven Type NE-5 cabooses. The original cars were built in the 1940s by Pullman-Standard, and the PC added the bay windows and plated over the cupola windows. The rear helper engine, No. 6233, was built by EMD for the Pennsylvania Railroad in January, 1968.
