| "Waterfall on the Beacon Line" Metro North's Beacon Line sits dormant and unused with one of a few Waterfalls along Fishkill Creek in the background. The Beacon Line hosted many Conrail freights in it's heyday but is now reduced to a seldom maintained "branch line" used once every couple years by maintenance of way. The line continues to be kept intact for future use. |
