Son Mike and his cousin Lisa observe as the engineer prepares the narrow gauge steam locomotive for a trip at the Brookfield Zoo. Unlike most amusement park trains, this railroad functioned similarly to the real thing with two trains meeting at passing sidings using full size prototype signals, crossing flashers, gates, etc. More recently this engine and tender could be found at the outdoor steam museum in Hesston Indiana.
