Remarks & Notes
In January 2011, the first Amtrak Heritage unit was fresh out of the paint booth. I was part of the Amtrak 40th Anniversary Team and went out to see the livery adaptation I co-designed and discuss plans for the remainder of the units with the trim shop employees. This was the moment when a lot of preparation for a project we were all passionate about began to pay off. All the late nights, extra hours, and planning was beginning to materialize into something real.
