| As the last rays of sunlight poke over the treeline, Notch Train 162 charges up the hill at Intervale just minutes from arrival at North Conway Depot. Engineer Cory Fothergill is at the throttle of the former Norfolk & Western GP35. Today the train went all the way to Fabyan at MP89 on the old Maine Central Mountain Subdivision. The peak of the 6288' Mount Washington looms in the background. |
