| A pair of BNSF GP39-2s work the yard at Willbridge on the northwest side of Portland. Downtown Portland can be seen in the distance below the signal bridge. The lineage of the lead GP39-2 is obvious (ex-ATSF 3684) while the second unit retains its original road number (ex-BN 2707). The lead unit is remote-equipped although it is manned, and the door is open to let some cool air in on a beautiful late-summer afternoon. |
