| Acela 2253 slowly rolls through Harold Interlocking on the LI Freight Track while track work occurs on the adjacent Line 4. Moments earlier, a maintenance of way crew with Amtrak GP15D 576 dropped some fresh ballast. A tamper and ballast regulator now move into position to do their work. In the far distance, the approaching headlight of an LIRR commuter train can be seen, as this train follows the Acela toward Penn Station. |
