Bethlehem Kaleidoscope 4 - During Conrail's early years, many foreign visitors spent time in Bethlehem mingling with the local power. Usually they were leased or run-through units. Here is a leased GTW SD40, in the company of a local engine, ex-L&HR C420 2074. Between the two units is RF&P GP7 102, a run-through unit from a short-lived Allentown - Potomac Yard service. The 5923 had leasing in its DNA; it soldiers on today as CITX 3069.
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
