Introduced in 1976, a four car train of 2400 series Boeing-Vertol rail cars is seen in their original bicentennial paint at the new Cermak-McCormick Green Line station. The cars were retired in 2014, but eight cars were kept and painted for a "historical fleet" to use for special events and charters. On the right is your typical boring green line train.
