Following a weekend snowstorm, the Batten Kill Railroad set out to work the Cargill-Salem, New York mill on February 16, with a planned run to Eagle Bridge, NY with the company's snow flanger in tow. The veteran ex-Delaware & Hudson Alco RS-3 still wears the orange scheme of the Greenwich & Johnsonville Railroad - a one-time subsidiary of the D&H, and is seen pulling hoppers from the Cargill mill.
