Remarks & Notes
The curve at Palmer Lake had been a favorite with railroad photographers for decades, all the more so this June 27,1965, as traffic returns to the Joint Line after a massive series of floods wiped out almost every rail link into Denver. Fort Worth & Denver F7A 751-D is still dragging its train up the grade, but in a minute or two it will be all downhill to Monument, Colorado Springs and points south.
