Remarks & Notes
I wanted to get a few more pictures of WHOE 806 while I still could. All other non-used equipment the WHO&E owns has been scrapped, leaving this ex MILW FP7 as the lone non-running survivor. Built in June of 1950, this 64 year old locomotive saw active freight duty until 5 or 6 years ago. She wears a NC&StL tribute paint scheme, though she was never on the roster of that railroad. Various rumors circulate from time to time about moving her somewhere as a static display, but so far nothing has materialized, making you wonder how much longer she can escape the scrapper's torch.

These are engines that are either already scrapped, are in deadlines, or they're in severe danger of being scrapped. Not everything can be preserved.
