| Dwarf semaphore. This protected Lehighton Interlocking, the junction where Jersey Central and LV traffic entered Packerton Yards in Lehighton, PA. The bridge in the distance once carried Jersey Central trains over the LV mainline. By the time of this photo, the Jersey Central mainline had been mostly removed from Lehighton to White Haven in favor of the LV mainline. Ektachrome X. |
