| It's the early days of CSX (and NS) and the two railroads have joined to run an "Operation Lifesaver" special over CSX tracks from Raleigh, NC to Sanford, NC and return. NS 5065 leads 2 CSX F units on the southbound leg where the locomotive set will run around the train and CSX will lead the return. A CSX through freight is making a pickup and will follow the OLS extra. A mixture of SBD power led by ex-L&N U23-B 3282 heads up the working freight train. |
