Remarks & Notes

Amtrak upgraded only one set of Turboliners to RTL II standards and that set operated in Empire Corridor service for only a few years. The uniquely painted train is heading southbound along the Hudson River with Penn Station in New York as the destination. A program to rebuild a fleet of turbo trains to RTL III standards was abandoned in a dispute betweeen Amtrak and New York state.
