Remarks & Notes

Though the Fall foliage is past peak, it's still quite the view from Elephant Head as Conway Scenic's Notch Train heads through Crawford's on its return trip to North Conway. In the foreground are US Route 302 and Saco Lake. The train is led by former MEC GP38-2 #252 (now CSRX #252), which is on familiar rails here on the former MEC Mountain Division.
