| The headend and midtrain power, along with a midtrain radio control car and cab, wait in the clear at Appalachia for a crew to return to Andover Yard. The units will then venture to Westmoreland Coal's Appalachia transloader to assemble a Duke Power unit train. The boarded building in the background is the ex-L&N's passenger station, Appalachia's Union Station; the ex-L&N main line through Appalachia is to the right. |
