We are doing 8 knots, as Thomas J. Brown & Sons tugboat John P. Brown tows the Cross Harbor rail barge on the hip through New York Harbor from the 65th Street Yard float bridge to the now-demolished 1907-era float bridge in Greenville, New Jersey. The skylines of Lower Manhattan and Jersey City dominate the background.
