Remarks & Notes |
Due to increasing shipments of fracking sand shortline St. Croix Valley is adding two rebuilt 3,000-hp six axle units to its roster The first to arrive after repainting at Horicon, Wisconsin was 1326 (ex-SP 8840). This shortline runs on the former NP mainline that linked Duluth and St. Paul, hence the NP-inspired paint scheme. This route was nicknamed the "Skally" and that moniker is incorporated in the lettering on the side of 1326. The also have two geeps that are painted in this scheme. |
