It's Earth Day, and the latest genset, 599 (affectionately known as "Ella" - named after an employee's daughter) is readied for an unveiling ceremony that would take place later in the day. This locomotive was formerly Amtrak 799, which was completely rebuilt into an eco friendly genset switcher for use in Washington Terminal in partnership with several agencies.
