| RISI makes the steep ascent up the grade out of Johnsonburg to the tune of a spectacular sound show behind five EMDs. The first two units are some of the dwindling fleet of ex-SP SD45r's which the BPRR has rebuilt to SD40-3 specs. While there are no plans to replace these units in the short term, the arrival of several ex-BN SD60Ms means catching them on the Northbound and Southbound road trains could be a thing of the past. |
