In the innocent days before railroaders made extensive use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) like safety vests, hardhats, etc., a Burlington Northern signal maintainer uses his athletic abilities to clean off the lenses on the grade crossing signals at McClure Road at the west end of Eola Yard, Illinois, on December 23, 1988.
