Remarks & Notes
SW-1 No. 31 was built by the Electro-Motive Corporation (EMC) in November 1941 for the EJ&E. Today it works out its last days on the short line Cloquet Terminal, under the watchful eye of Robert Purcell. Sister 35 (EMD SW1000) is currently the main operating locomotive on the roster.
