The mid-day passenger train tackles the stiff 3.9% grade out of Mifengyan behind C2 #09. Here the track winds through a field of flowering rape seed plants. Every March, the hills in the this region of Sichuan Province, would shine with the flowering rape-seed drawing tourists to this railway.
