Remarks & Notes
Smothered by a heavy Greenbrier river valley fog, the signals at Ft. Spring project their aspects into the thick, humid summer time air. In the distance, a struggling loaded drag can be heard, snaking up the Alleghany over 5 miles away. By the time he arrives, the first light of the day will be evident.. Another night of railroading on the Alleghany will soon come to an end..

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
