| A 2009 production ES44C4, BNSF 6605 leads an eastbound intermodal train out of Caliente. The power is nearing MP 336 while the stacks wrap around the Caliente horse-shoe. The horse-shoe takes trains out of "downtown" Caliente and swings them to the west as the railroad gains elevation on its climb up the western Tehachapi slopes. |
