| A pair of Bombardier "Talent 2" electric multiple units arrives at Fürth Station headed for Nürnberg on the S1 S-Bahn line. These new EMUs have been plagued with mechanical and software issues which greatly delayed their entry into regular service. It seems that they have now only been in service for a few months. I can report from personal experience that these cars offer a much quieter and smoother ride than the old locomotive-hauled stock they are slowly replacing. |
