| The one and only SD19-1 currently calls Hutchins Texas home and has been here since early summer of 2008. It is much like a model railroader's kit bash. It was built in April 1956 as a Southern Pacific SD9 and was rebuilt and over hauled several times under SP. When the unit made it to MRL, it was a project that was never repeated. It is now owned by Pacific Rail Services which performs contract switching services for UP. |
