| Verrey-sous-Salmaise lies on the climb to Blaisy-Bas, part of the classic main line from Paris to Dijon. In fact the line runs right through the middle of the place, making the small wayside station the centre of the village. Here we see a BB 7200 with a class mate and a BB 26000 Sybic in tow (not under power) at the head of a train of tank wagons as it descends the gradient towards Montbard.
