| "Voralpenexpress" Lucerne-Arth Goldau-Rapperswil-Wattwil-St.Gallen-Romanshorn with locomotive Re 456 056 in publicity paint scheme "100 Jahre Rickenbahn Romanshorn St.Gallen Wattwil Uznach" crosses the highest railway bridge of Switzerland, the 99 metre high and 365 metre long Sitter viaduct. Below the viaduct the Kubel power station, very first storage power station of Switzerland, built in 1900 (the large building from 1907). In the background the Sitter viaduct of the SBB line St.Gallen-Gossau-Zürich. |
