Remarks & Notes 
This is the longest 2 foot guage line in South Africa and it is remarkable that it has survived to 2010. The NG15 was, together with the NGG16 Garratts, the standard motive power on this line until the end of steam. The bridge is the highest railway bridge in the world on the 2 foot guage.
